The Sig P365 has a micro-compact black stainless steel frame with a protective Nitron finish, a carbon steel barrel, and a polymer grip. Sig Sauer P365 vs Taurus G2C: Controls

Trigger

The trigger is one of the most important differences between the Sig P365 and the Taurus G2C.

The striker-fired P365 has Sig Sauer’s classic clean, crisp trigger pull. It’s designed with a curved trigger with a pull weight of about 6 pounds.

The Taurus, on the other hand, has a single-action trigger with restrike capability, making it faster and easier to make follow-up shots. Essentially, this restrike function means that the gun’s single-action trigger doesn’t need to cycle before you can re-cock the striker. This is a handy feature in that you can pull the trigger a second time in the event a round doesn’t fire, and allows you to practice dry firing without having to recycle it every time.

Safety

In terms of safety features, the G2C has a manual thumb safety, trigger safety, loaded chamber indicator, and firing pin block. The P365, on the other hand, is available either with or without an ambidextrous manual safety and has a striker safety lock and disconnect safety.

Which is Right For Me?

Both the Sig Sauer P365 and the Taurus G2C next to each other.

If you’re trying to make a decision between the Sig Sauer P365 vs Taurus G2C, there are a few things you can look at to determine which is a better fit for you. First is size. The compact G2C is noticeably bigger than the micro-compact P365, and has a higher mag capacity.

Another major difference is that the P365 is a striker-fired pistol, while the G2C is a single action. This just comes down to what you prefer! If you’re looking to mount accessories like a light or laser, you’ll be better off with the Taurus G2C which is equipped with a rail. If you’re interested in adding optics to your rig, the P365 comes in an optics-ready variant and will the the better choice.

Finally, if budget is a consideration, a new Taurus G2C is significantly more affordable than a new Sig Sauer P365 — about $200 more affordable. That said, both models are readily available on the used market if you’re looking to spend a little less.

The right pistol for you all comes down to your specific needs and preferences. Both models are excellent for concealed carry, and are widely used by shooting enthusiasts.
